These are the last leagues for 2008. ALL waiting
lists are 'thrown out'
after the last leagues start.
ALL waiting lists START OVER on January 1,
2009!!!
Teams & Players can get on more than 1
waiting list starting January 1st.
It is generally easier to place complete teams
in leagues, as oppposed to single players.

To
get a new team in a league, the team must be
on the waiting list for that league.
Teams CAN be on mutliple lists.
Full teams are easier to place than single players.

Leagues
are EIGHT WEEKS in duration,
unless otherwise indicated.
7 weeks of season play + 1 week
of Double Elimination Playoffs.
All teams are seeded according to their season record,
and participate in Playoffs.

HOW
TO REGISTER
Registering
for leagues is easy.....getting a spot in a league
is a little more tricky!
Teams
participating in the most recent (past) leagues are
*guaranteed a spot in that same league the following
session. After the current teams are reregistered,
any openings that remain will be offered to team(s)
on the waiting list in the order they were added to
the list (chronologically).
*as long as the team is registered online prior to
the registration deadline

TO REGISTER YOUR TEAM:
(after your team has a spot in the league)
1.)
ONLINE REGISTRATION. There are two Registration
Forms to choose from. They both require the exact
same team, player, and credit card information. The
ONLY difference is with one form, payment is made
online & with the other payment is made by or
on the first night of the league. Credit card info
is required to secure a team's spot in a league regardless
of when payment is made. If invalid/incomplete
credit card information is listed on the form that
registration form is incomplete and the team will
be removed from the league.
Both Registration Forms are very easy to use and may
be accessed by entering the correct User Name
& Password. The team captain (team contact)
will be given the username & password only after
the team has a confirmed spot in a league.
THE TEAM/PLAYER INFORMATION REQUIRED TO REGISTER
A TEAM IS THE SAME FOR BOTH REGISTRATION FORMS.
That information includes,
a.)
Team Name. (Coed 3s & Coed 4s
only)
b.)
Names of all players. (NOT subs or
extra players)
Subs may be added to a teams roster after they play
a match with a team up until the last week of season
play (week before playoffs).
c.)
Email address for each player.
d.)
Contact phone # for each player.
(two phone #s are required for team captain)
e.) Credit
card number with expiration date to secure the team's
spot in the league. (MC & Visa only)

Recreational
(Coed 4s) - Novices with only a basic (very basic)
understanding of the game. Limited skills, but unlimited
enthusiasm. Playing to have fun! Great for corporate
teams.
Upper
Recreational (Coed 4s) - This group is both the
stronger recreational players and the weaker intermediate
players. They could participate in either (rec. or
int.) and compete.
Intermediate
(B) (Coed 4s) - Understands the game. Moderate
skills, but a lot of room for improvement. Moments
of greatness. Inconsistency is consistent.
Upper
Intermediate (BB) (Coed 4s, Coed 2s) - Good skills.
Pretty strong player, but not very consistent.
Competitive
(AA, A) (Coed 3s, Coed 2s, Womens 2s, Mens 2s)- Very
good solid skills. Consistent, steady execution. Very
competitive, but not quite at the top.
Open
(Mens 2s only) - You have arrived! Very top level.
Expert players (or so you think!).
These
descriptions apply to Tournament Divisions as well!

Prices are adjusted
for leagues less than 8 weeks in duration.
There
are no referees or referee fees in any Third Coast
league.
All players in all leagues are expected to make their
own calls.
ALL
LEAGUE FEES ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE THE FIRST NIGHT OF
PLAY!
This is true regardless of whether or not individual
players are
present the first night of play.

ATTENTION ALL LEAGUE PLAYERS!!!
Players who owe the regular price league fee ($65)
-OR-
have a completed league
card discount (entitled to $15
off)
AND
pay their league fee the first night by credit card,
will be charged an ADDITIONAL
$10.
This Additional
$10 fee policy is in effect for all 2008 leagues.
This additional
$10 fee has been put into effect to encourage those
who wish to
pay by credit card to do so online ahead of time,
which cuts down drastically on the
time spent checking in teams/players the first night
of a league.
To AVOID the ADDITIONAL $10
fee, players who intend to pay by
credit card should do so online prior to the start
day of the league!
Players
who have either membership coupons or league winner
discounts MAY pay the first night by credit card,
cash, or check with no additional fee.
(those two discounts cannot be calculated online)
Players
may ALWAYS pay by cash or check the first night --
regardless of discounts!

League
Cards are our way of saying 'Thanks' to individuals
who play in two or more Third Coast leagues in one
session. Players who are enrolled in at least two
leagues *simultaneously can receive a League Card.
League Cards are available and credited the first
night of a league.
It is the responsibility of the player to request
a League Card
and have it credited by Third Coast staff.
When the card is full, players are entitled to receive
a FREE DRINK & $15 off
their league fee (can be used in combination with
other discounts).
NOTE: Credit is NOT available for 2007 leagues! Once
a league ends, the
opportunity to get credit for that league ends as
well!
*Applies
to players enrolled in two or more leagues during
the same session.
Playing in the same league in back-to-back sessions
does not apply.
